Women’s Violence Against Men Still Acceptable – Videos

wounded-heart2 As Valentines Day approaches, every man will be reminded that if he forgets this special day, he will suffer dire consequences. But what is truly amazing his how sexist and one sided this “mutual relationship” day really is.

In our present environment which stresses gender equality, almost all Valentine’s Day ads will portray the man doing something special for the woman in his life – rare is the ad which shows the woman going beyond her means to please the man in her life. Also consider that when advertisers develop an ad which depicts a spouse forgetting Valentines Day, or depicts a partner being cheap on this special day, it will ALWAYS be the male put in this humiliating position.

Women consistently gripe about how females are portrayed in the media, but they conveniently ignore how men are negatively portray in the media also. Why is it women cry about all the inequalities in the world when it affects THEM, but do not muster any ounce of energy to address the inequities faced by men? The paradigm of Valentines Day and corresponding silence from the “gender equality” (RE: women) appears to validate my opinion of how selfish the women’s movement has become. These self proclaimed “humanist” care only about themselves. If they truly cared about equality for everyone, they would protest these disparaging stereotypes and portrayals of males in society – but they don’t.

Check out how the disturbing reality of gender violence is handled by advertisers and the media.

In this first video the man can’t make it home to spend Valentines Day with his partner. He’s stuck working late. Her response? Take Valentines Day to him at the office. Sounds great, looks great! But watch until the climax for the advertiser’s “humorous” ending.

In this next video, a misunderstanding by the man’s wife causes her to assault him. No apology, no mention that if this was real life, her actions would be considered an act of domestic violence. In our present society, men are warned of the consequences of their anger and violence towards women. However, women are taught – with the medias help – that violence against men is acceptable, and hey, it’s also a great form of amusement.

If you think I’m over extending myself, watch this next video. While on live TV, a woman finds it perfectly acceptable to harass and assault the male reporter. She does this, knowing that society will not hold her accountable for her violent actions. It is only labeled violence when men assault women. When women assault men it’s called “humor”, which is why I found this video while searching for “funny” videos.

So this is the new gender equality? This behavior is what society piously proclaims we should be advocating? Also, the most vocal and influencial feminist do not find the many examples of female-on-male violence in the media disturbing  judging by their silence?

Count me out of this form of equality. I finished grammar school a long time ago – my thinking has matured since then.

  1. The absence of any comments so far show how accurate this article is.

However, the author forgotten about the advert for Heineken Export where the truck drivers wife has broken his arm and leg to prevent him from taking the worlds (probably) finest lager out of Denmark; and the one where the little old lady lures a similar driver to her remote country house and hits himover the head and throws him down the cellar, wherethere are already several men in Heineken overalls already bruised and tied up, presumably until they die?

Then there is the poster with a man bent double in agony clutching his genitals, the caption explaining that he has borrowed his partner’s car without asking.

Laugh!!? How outraged would we be if someone replicated these adverts with the roles reversed?

THe problem is that the advertisers understand the nation’s subconscious, rather than them creating it.

The adverts represent a dysfunctional attitude in society.

Perhaps we should discuss if the rational is that men don’t feel pain as much as women. No hang on , that can’t be right! The rhetoric is that women have a higher threshold for pain…and men can never experience pain like childbirth…so in that case.. punishments for assaulting a man should be higher than for hurting a woman? ….Discuss!

  2. I am just finding out about this article. I have been speaking about this topic since the 80’s. Violence against males starts during infancy. A large percentage of males born in any given year will have their sexual-regenerative organs mutilated without their knowledge or consent. This act, called circumcision, is sanctioned as “necessary” by science and deemed “holy” by various religions. The media programs us daily with sexual assault on males in the form of groin kicks or other unwanted touching from women on male actors. This is always shown in film as comical or “desirable” for any male in the film or for the viewing audience. Violence against males also takes on an psychological impact in the form of violation of privacy for males. Women and girls are afforded a high level of privacy and body modesty. A male is supposed to not show any form of modesty or concern for self especially when in the company of woman whether that woman seeks his approval or not. Often comedies contain scenes where a male character is forced to be naked or in an compromising situation while a female or females scrutinizes him. If the tables were turned the male is always portrayed as less than human, dangerous, or perverted just for looking at a woman whether nude, scantily clad or clothed. The male is given an automatic inherent rapist persona just by virtue of his gender.
The average male is indoctrinated to despise his own gender and place all females on a pedestal. This in itself is residual effect of psychological violence. In turn what occurs is either low self esteem or false sense of arrogance which is usually always put in check by any female character in any given story line.
Personally, I have taken it upon myself to speak to small groups about this topic so that changes can be made.
If we allow this agenda, and it is an agenda to continue the effects upon susceptible minds will only worsen the societal impact. Media is a powerful mind manipulating tool and to ignore gender bias is to take the dangerous power media holds over any society.

  3. I have been looking around for a article like this for a long time. I am so sick and tired of seeing females assault men in movies and on television. For instance, the Cameron Diaz movie, Bad Teacher has her character actually abusing a school age boy by throwing a soccer ball into his groin and then telling two other boys to hold his arms while she throws the ball again at his head. In the movie with Zoe Saldana, all through the movie she’s beating, shooting and killing men with abandon. I get so mad each time I see the trailer that I turn the channel. Women actually think that they have a right to hit men and not be hit back. I, for one do not accept that and if a woman ever hits me, she’s getting the taste smacked out of her mouth.

    • In Michigan it was reported that about 100 women poured out of a night club ,and chased one guy and they fought him in the streets . The guy was killed, and according to the article,no arrest were made.
Now adays you have to go old school,Bogart ,Cagney on them. (They respect you more, they love a bad boy ,better than a good guy,we are viewed as ATM machines and chumps.)

  4. I agree Keith. I am also sick of it. Men feel pain just like women and despite what we’ve been lead to believe women have historically had it much easier than men – socially. There were laws to protect only women in the workforce, men have been punished more severely, men had the right to die first while women are saved – ex: Titanic, men had the right to be butchered in wars – I said BUTCHERED while women were except. Men pay higher insurance rates because they live shorter, yet when it would work in their favour with pension rates that same justification is not applied, they die younger but pay the same rates as women even though they draw it on average 12 years less.

if a woman ever hits me – she’s getting it back.

  5. I agree that there’s a huge double standard. In one morning, I watched an episode of How I Met Your Mother Where Robin’s character punched Barney’s character three times knocking him unconscious for laughs and the Disney movie Tangled where the Rapunzel character ties a man to a chair and knocks him unconscious with a cast iron skillet. If these scenes had been reversed, these would have been horror movies.

A sexual double standard is definitely part of the problem, but the bigger issue is that violence should NEVER be played for laughs. Anyone who has been punched in the face knows that it’s no laughing matter.

  6. Update2013:
Women may be on the front lines.(Good it’s about time.) Women are taking kick boxing and other training in martial arts,in record number CPL permits are issused.Women spoted with tee shirts saying;”should I murder him’? I always didn’t think it was funny, showing women it was okay to abuse men,by punching you, thinking because you are a guy and can “take it.”Women teacher’s are having sex with young male children at an alarming rate, and are called cute names like “Cougars”. These women, don’t face life sentence’s like men.If a male has a nice hard body on TV,it seems okay if a woman cop a feel, and rub her hands all over a guy, what happen’s if you reverse the role’s? Hey guys, play rough with your woman and sometimes when you are playing, and don’t hold back, let her know if she thinks about hitting you ,like in some movie, that you will clean her clock for her! They are full of narcissism and male bashing and can switch from liking guys to women in a heartbeat.I don’t trust something that bleds for several days and don’t die.

You notice how woman feminize things? An object ,be it clothes or what have you.If for example females by the droves start wearing men’s tuxedo’s now it becomes a gay thing and alot of guys may stop wearing them.
